Ok well i deleted the mysql line but it just gave me another error. Unfortunately this is the first time I have looked at computer programming language for about 20 years and php is a bit beyond me so I dont think I really know what I am doing.

The mysql error referred to a line in the 300s but in fact was actually on 700. Anyway if you manage to figure it out do let me know.


This was the next error...

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /home/justin/public_html/portal/components/com_joominvite/openinviter/openinviter.php on line 13

I am attaching the edited file for both of you. Uninstall JoomInvite once and then install again and then replace the file joominvite.php from com_joominvite folder with this one. Let me know if it works.

Bloody Marvellous. You rock! Its working brilliantly now.

AUCH!! THAT's bad

my provider has php 4.4.9

How can I switch to php 5 ?

any customed solution please!?!?
